A ballroom situation with a set that was nothing more than scrunched up screen material. I lit the set with 2 groups of Source 4 PARs and ERS' in 2 colors, one amber, one blue. This enabled a smooth flow from day to night without the use of scrollers. By using different banks of color at any one time I was able to shade and texture to come up with several different looks. I also use 2 HES Studio Spots to create a reflected water look in the upstage entrance. This helped to further reinforce the cavern feel onstage.
